Once upon a horrible time..

A girl was very sick.

She moseyed miserably through her day with her achy body and stuffy nose.

Finally, when she got home, relief came in the form of a wonderful boy who took care of her all night.

He drugged her up and sent her off to dreamland.

The next morning, she awoke for class, and when she went to open her car door, she stumbled upon this.

So, basically, the boy is crazy about the girl and went out of his way before work to make her smile when she was feeling like death.

What a lucky girl.

Arizona girl.

A couple weeks ago, here in Arizona, we had a bit of a rainy week.

It got cold, and I got happy.

Being a native Arizonan means you don't get to be cold. Ever.

So when it is cold, you get to take out all your cute pea coats that you've been praying you could wear and you cross your cold little fingers that somewhere not too far away maybe has the magical white flakes to make your winter perfect.

And when you find out that, in fact, you are only 2 hours away from pure joy, you take a road trip with your friends and play in the snow all day long.

And maybe you're lucky enough to have a boyfriend who has a cabin, and get to spend the rest of your day playing scrabble and watching the Indiana Jones movies while cuddling in a blanket with his cute face.

Just maybe.

Confession.

So, I have a confession to make.

I'm a crappy blogger, yeah yeah yeah.

But the reason I'm a crappy blogger is because I have a new friend of the boy variety.

He's seriously so wonderful.
I wasn't so sure about blogging about this before. I have a lot of posts that have to do with Jake, and I was kind of hesitant to post things about a new boy. I was having a blog-dentity crisis about whether I wanted to talk about my love life or just talk about my awesome self.
But I guess I'm going to be brave.
And we go on a lot of fun adventures, so it's about time you two were introduced.

Is it really 2012?

Where the heck has the time gone.. and where have my blog posts gone?

As a close friend of mine stated a couple days ago, I have been blogslacking.

Blogslacking (n): when a person completely forgets about or disregards the fact that they have a blog that a handful of people may or may not like to read. See also followers.

I'm guessing that means she wants to know what's going on with my life.

Or she was just stating the obvious.

Either way, I bet you know what my New Years resolution is.

So blog updating starts today.
